A boy wakes up in an unknown world, with no idea how he got there.

This Is is a story-driven, turn-based RPG with environmental puzzles, strange inhabitants, an original soundtrack... and a heart that can give out at any moment.

This 30-minute prototype demo is the first step of the game we want to keep building. Your feedback decides what comes next!

No memories. No name. Just a constant feeling that something is wrong.

You'll take on the role of this boy, who can't remember anything, except his hypochondria.

He doesn't even remember his own name: it'll be up to YOU to give him a new one.

He's confused and doesn't know why he's there. He thinks all of this is just a dream and that nothing can happen to him, and that's exactly what gives him the drive to explore.

Welcome to the island. Please mind the locals.

The boy crashes through the roof of a shed, on a small peninsula surrounded by blue trees.

Everyone here is a disease, a cell or a piece of the human body. Within minutes he meets a group of scouts and Wallace, who is quite literally a wall, and gets invited to the campfire to hear the tale of the evil wizard.

You'll meet plenty of eccentric characters, all very curious about you. Inside this demo area you're safe. Outside of it...

The enemy isn't the only thing that can kill you.

Combat is turn-based, but every fight takes a toll. Stress builds up, and the higher it climbs, the more likely the boy's heart is to give out.

You don't always have to fight. You can make a deal and walk away, as long as you're willing to pay with the one currency they'd give anything for.

In this demo you have one melee weapon and a single enemy to face: the boss waiting at the end. The full game will expand combat with disease types and new weapon categories.

All keys can be rebound in the options menu.

Move: Arrow keys
Confirm: Enter
Cancel / Menu: Esc

Saving: sit on a bench. It's the only place where the boy can really calm down. Just don't get too comfortable.

Updates: the game checks for updates automatically when you're online.
Headphones recommended.
